Good Plan Restaurant
We recommend a local restaurant that does not look like much from the outside but worth a visit: EL PATIO. You will spend a wonderful evening. The food is original and delicious. Taste the llama meat is extra! With a little luck, you will be entitled to a concert Andean eating.
The most famous restaurant in the village and surrounding areas is the Peña de Carlitos. The house has existed for over 40 years! There is eat local dishes and there listen to local music, all in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Click HERE for more info.
Good Plan walk: La Garganta del Diablo
Located in the hills of Tilcara, hiking the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) offers breathtaking scenery. You have to take in the car or walking a trail to the top of the nearby mountain 8kms. Aie Aie Aie! The road is narrow and bordered by a cliff more impressive. In short, a road not advise to those who have vertigo ... a wise.
Arrived at 3000m, park at the end of the road and discover the throat that leads to a waterfall.
